Please Sponsor Me for the London to Brighton Bike ride!

Hello lovely generous, wonderful, generous, fantastic, generous people!

WHAT CRAZY ADVENTURE ARE YOU PLANNING PAUL??

Against all the odds, I have secured a late notice place on the London to Brighton cycle ride. The 54 mile ride, which takes place Sunday June 19, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and the British Heart Foundation aims to raise £3million from this event.

This the LONGEST cycle ride I've ever done, and definitely the most gruelling, having to tackle the mighty hills on the South Downs, and dealing with strong coastal winds! Therefore I ask and beg of you to dig deep in your pockets and sponsor me for this event.

I need your sponsors to convert into motivation for this mighty task! I can't do it without you! It doesn't matter if it's 10p or £100 - it ALL counts!

I AM PRETTY SKINT THIS MONTH...WHY SHOULD I BOTHER??

For more than 40 years, the British Heart Foundation has been at the forefront of the fight against heart disease, funding research, education, care and much more. Please sponsor me so the BHF can continue their amazing work.

Every two minutes someone in the UK has a heart attack and half of these attacks will be fatal. Heart and circulatory disease remains the UK's biggest killer.

With your support and the sponsor money you raise, we can fight heart disease so that it is no longer a major cause of disability and premature death.

Believe me, if every single person who receives this email, sponsors me just £1, we are still talking a LOT of money!

SOUNDS GREAT PAUL, HOW DO I SPONSOR YOU??

To sponsor me online using a credit or debit card, please click here (opens in new window).
(it's a secure site, and only takes 2 minutes tops, honestly)

[note: do you work for, or know of any organisations that may be able to help?]

To sponsor me using the traditional paper-method, please email me with the amount and I'll add your name to the form!

(ps, why not make your own trendy wristband to support the cause, by getting hold of a 'MakePoveryHistory' wristband, turning it upside down and using a biro, write 'Support Paul's Bike Ride' on the other side.)
