Last weekend I hired two films and watched them in the same night... "Gothika" followed by "Along came Polly". Both were good films in totally different ways -- Gotika is a scary and intense psycological thriller, and "Along came Polly" is a very light hearted romantic comedy... both good.

Now this is my point - I think this kind of film trend should be encouraged - the harsh scary film first, and then the tame comedy is a really good after dinner mint. It's a bit like eating a hot curry then haing ice cream afterwards. you're left quite refreshed...

Am i the only one who is a little worried about this? Last year it was the hottest summer on record... and this year it is (nearly) the rainiest summer. (if you call it summer)...

what is going on?! it's scary that both extreme's have happened one year after another... did we use all the sun up last year and now we're paying the price?!
